Crossingoz

Conor Hoban 'top-and-tailed' the card at Dundalk this evening as the jockey completed his double in the concluding Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap (div 2) on the Billy Fitzpatrick trained Crossingoz 20/1 chance.
Hoban won the opening Claimer on 5/4 favourite Captain Power and completed his brace on Crossingoz, a six year old mare which was shedding her maiden tag at the 16th attempt.
Afterwards Hoban said “she got upset the last day in the stalls (withdrawn) at Naas. She’d been working well and had a lovely run around. She picked up off the home turn and pulled a length or two away from the field and stuck at it well.
“Hopefully she can pick up another one. It’s great for Willie Fitzpatrick, a small trainer but he does a great job and the lads that ride her out have her lovely and sweet.”
