High School Days and Chris Meehan

Gigginstown House Stud, Henry de Bromhead and Chris Meehan carried on from Sunday successes, with High School Days in the IRIS First For Racing Footage In Ireland Rated Novice Hurdle at Wexford.
The sweet-travelling daughter of Elusive Quality put in two lovely big clean leaps over the last couple of hurdles for a comfortable five length win over Get Smart
"That was brilliant. She has done well after being a bit disappointing in maidens," reflected de Bromhead.
"She will be a lovely mare over fences. She jumps really well and Chris gave her a super ride.
"I don't really have a plan for her now. That was a suitable race and she will probably go for something similar."
P. Townend, rider of Slippery Serpent trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.
M.P. Walsh, rider of I Will Follow (FR) trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Slippery Serpent, trained by E. J. O'Grady, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
Additionally, the Turf Club Veterinary officer received a report from the trainer's representative that his charge scoped abnormally post race.
