Heirloom battled gamely to land the spoils in the mile-and-a-half handicap at Gowran Park.
25/1 shot Todd cut out the running and, as has been the story of the night, the front-runner proved hard to peg back.
9/4 favourite Heirloom had to pull out all the stops to grab the leader inside the final furlong and record a length success under Joseph O'Brien.
The Ballydoyle colt was dropping back in trip here having been beaten when a short price for a 1m6f handicap at Leopardstown last time.
“I was very happy with him. He stays well and he handled the good ground,” said Joseph O'Brien afterwards.
