The Stewards interviewed Seamie Heffernan, rider of Love To Dance concerning the use of the whip in the closing stages.

Evidence was heard from the rider who stated that he had exceeded the frequency guidelines but had been unable to use it effectively due to being in close proximity to the winner.

They viewed the video of the race and after considering the evidence, the Stewards found Seamie Heffernan had used his whip with excessive frequency & suspended him for 1 raceday.
