Seamie Heffernan warmed up for his ride on So You Think in the Eclipse Stakes at Sandown with a win on the Aidan O’Brien trained Devotion in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Leopardstown this evening.

Heffernan produced the daughter of Dylan Thomas with a well timed challenge to lead inside the final furlong, for a comfortable win over Sophies Echo

Afterwards Heffernan stated “I was told to ride her differently that when she ran here the last day, and while I wasn’t sure if it would work, she won. She is a big scopey filly.”
