Heart To Heart (9/1) gained a winning bracket at the eighth attempt in the Arkle Bar Median Auction Maiden.
Aidan O’Brien’s filly, whose previous best effort had been when runner-up in a nursery over course and distance in August, tracked the leaders on the far side of the course before hitting the front over a furlong from home.
She ran on well to beat Siesta Beach (3/1) by a length and a quarter with the 11/4 favourite Dancing Rebel just a short head further away in third.
The latter was slightly hampered when Siesta Beach edged left a furlong out and was promoted to second after a stewards’ enquiry.
Winning rider Seamie Heffernan remarked: “Her work has always been promising and she was just green.
“It's not unusual for a Zoffany filly to make up into a nice type and I'd say she's going to make a nice type.
“She handled everything well today.”
