Head Bounces Back
Head Of The Posse bounced back from his dreadful fall at Cork forty six days ago with a neck success over Deal Done in the opening Book Your Festival Tickets Hurdle at Punchestown.
David Casey in the J P McManus silks, produced the 7/2 shot travelling well in the straight, and when put under pressure from the last he found what was required to beat Deal Done.
Successful trainer, John Kiely said: "That's compensation for Mallow. The ground was a bit better today than at Navan (short-headed there by Clan Tara). We'll find another race for him and he'll go chasing next year." (EM)
