The navanracecourse.ie Handicap saw much delight at the number one spot after as Enter The Red got the job done for the Howards.
Chris Hayes rode the eight-year-old and in this big field sprint he came out on top by a length and a quarter from Accalia (Colin Keane up).
Winning trainer Aidan Howard said: "He's a legend and he's very easy to train. He goes home and eats up and goes out in the field every afternoon.
"I have to say it's all down to Chris Hayes because after the last day I was letting him out for the winter and Chris gave me a ring and said to come here. I think I'll let him off for the winter now as he deserves it.
"I've had a great season and I think I have about a 40 per cent strike rate in handicaps."
