Chris Hayes continued his fine start to the new flat season and he recorded his 11th of the new term in the opening Join The 2015 Sligo Race Supporters Club Fillies Median Auction Maiden at Sligo today, winning on the Kevin Prendergast trained even money favourite Natural Woman
Hayes moved the daughter of Excellent Art to the front entering the home turn and from there, the winner stayed on well for a comfortable win over Maronella
Afterwards Hayes stated "she's a smart filly, and what I was impressed with most was the way she quickened up well. It's testing ground and very deep down the back.
"She was fresh going down to the start, and I got her settled in as I didn't want her to be keen and have a hard race. I wouldn't be surprised if she pitched up in a nice handicap on Guineas weekend."
