The good ground at Thurles today has resulted in jockey injuries.
Roger Loughran was unseated from Mackeys Forge in the second race and he was stood down for the rest of the day with a suspected fractured collar bone.
Loughran subsequently missed out on a winner as Mark Enright deputised for him aboard Hunting Party who won the sixth. Annas Back fell at the third last in the fourth race and her rider Brian Hayes has a suspected broke arm following the incident.
Annas Back brought down Davy Russell's mount Ussius and the champion jockey was also stood down for the day with soft tissue damage to his shoulder.
Russell is expected to be back in action at Navan on Saturday.
