Harry holds on for shock
Major Harry produced a 33/1 shock when just holding the late charge of Spa Wells in the Yolanda O'Gorman Memorial Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe.
Tony Kelly produced his mount to take it up from the front-runner Like The Da on the home bend.
He was pushed to the limit on the run-in, however, with Spa Wells quickened well from the last to press him hard for a head success.
The winner had been placed a couple of times in England in the 2009/10 season but had shown little since being switched to Pat Kelly's yard.
Tony Kelly, son of the winning trainer, is on a working holiday back in Ireland until after Galway when he will rejoin the Ferdy Murphy yard.
"I've had seven winners under rules now and that's my first ride at Ballinrobe," said the winning pilot.
