Newcomer Sizing Pottsie completed a first and last race double for Jessica Harrington at Leopardstown, as he took the concluding TRM Excellence In Equine Nutrition (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
The French bred son of Kapgarde was bought for E220,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland Derby National Hunt Sale in June of last year.
Having opened at 4/1 on-course, the bay victor eventually went off an 11/4 chance under Kate Harrington.
Settled in fourth, he improved to challenge on the outer as they approached the straight. He hit the front over a furlong out, and was ridden out from there, going on to score by a length and a quarter. Eagle Roque (12/1) finished a gallant second under Barry O'Neill for Paul Nolan, while the well-backed favourite Whoshotthesheriff (11/8 to 6/5 on-course) could only manage third, another length and three parts back under Nina Carberry for Gordon Elliott.
Jessica Harrington, who won the opener with Jezki said afterwards: "He's very good, and we actually put him in the Graded bumper here last month but he just wasn't right at the time.
"He was named Cap Ocean and he changed the name to Sizing Pottsie. He was going to call him Capsizing!
"It's great to have one like that. He's eligible for the Tattersalls Sales race at Fairyhouse so I'd say he will go there as long as it doesn't come too soon for him. It's three weeks away."
