Jessica Harrington completed a cross-card treble today, as her Himalayan Beauty (15/2) was the trainer's second Limerick winner, in the Top Of The Town Askeaton (Fillies) Handicap.
Ridden by Tom Madden, the daughter of The Ghurka chased leader New York Angel before moving past that rival under two furlongs out and finished well for a six lengths win over Miss Cunning
Madden later said “it was great to get her back winning again this year and while she has been a little disappointing, the handicapper gave her a chance.
“She loved that ground and Jessie (Harrington) told me to get her out of the stalls quick and to see what happens and keep it simple. Everything went to plan and I got a great run around and when she got to the horse in front (New York Angel), I knew she'd stay well. I got to her plenty early but was always confident.”
Harrington was earlier successful in Limerick with short-head winner Dairerin under Niall McCullagh, and at Leopardstown with the Shane Foley-partnered Ha Ha Ha
