Harrington Delightful at Cork
It was a Jessie Harrington one two in the Pallas Maiden Hurdle with her two runners Delightful Way and Spainish Auriga (7/2f) battling it out all the way to line with Delightful Way getting the better of the favourite under Andrew Leigh.
Winning trainer Harrington said: “I’m delighted with that he was a bit of a madam in Galway where he got his ground but he just didn’t do a stroke on the flat so I said right we’re going hurdling.”
“He stayed well and he jumped super. We will probably go for a four year old handicap hurdle in Listowel next.”
Harrington also added, “I thought Spainish Auriga would have won. He’s a good horse and he’ll have his day.”
