On her first outing since April Harmonya Maker had a lovely introduction to fences when maintaining Gordon Elliott's red-hot form in the Noreside Catering Irish EBF Mares Beginners Chase at Gowran.
In the hands of Jordan Gainford the Tim O'Driscoll-owned Saddler Maker mare had her rivals on the stretch out in a clear lead from some way out.
Odds-on favourite Brandy Love wasn't as proficient in the jumping stakes and she and her Willie Mullins-trained stable companion Eabha Grace were confined to the second and third spots.
Eleven lengths and fourteen lengths separated the principals at the line.
With the sponsors for the Mrs Paddy Power Mares' Chase they go a 20/1 first show quote about Harmonya Maker.
Elliott’s assistant Ian Amond said: “Jordan said she had a bit of a look at the first and jumped the second a bit to the left but after that she was good apart from a small mistake at the third last.
“She got to do her own thing in front and settled away as she can be a bit head strong so it was as good as start as you could wish for.
“She’s been jumping well at home but until you go and do it here it’s a different story.”
