Harley Street supported into 5/6 favouritism having been 2/1 this morning, was a third winner of the afternoon for Aidan O'Brien when landing the Hollywoodbets Live In Ireland Maiden under Wayne Lordan.
The Kodiac colt, sixth on last month's debut over 1m2f at this venue, tracked the pace and challenged long-time leader Hibernia Oppositus inside the final quarter-mile. In front at the furlong pole, he stayed on well to account for that rival by a length and a quarter with the first two nicely clear of the rest.
“He had a lovely run here the last day when he was very green through the race,” said O'Brien.
“He really only got going, going past the line the last day and looked like a horse crying out to go a mile-and-a-half.
“Wayne said he was very happy with him. Looking at him he could even get further, he's still babyish.
“He could make a nice four-year-old. He's a very unexposed horse.”
