Easy-to-back 6/4 favourite Annamix completed a treble for Wille Mullins when landing the Michael Lenihan Heart Safe Charity Hunters Chase.
The grey tracked the leaders and moved into second two out before narrowly heading the always-prominent Nice To Meet at the last. The latter rallied gamely to produce another close finish on the evening but it was Annamix who was called the winner by a short head.
Winning rider Patrick Mullins said: “He jumped brilliant but didn’t finish as strong as I thought he might.
“The whole reason we kept him this year was for Aintree and he didn’t qualify in time. Hopefully next year that will be the aim.”
