Hard on the layers on Clonmel's big day

All the winners on Clonmel's big day have been at the head of the market, and that trend continued in race six with 6/4 favourite Hard Bought going in under Phillip Enright in the Prior Park Service Station Handicap Chase.
A slight mistake at the last by John Joe Walsh's runner, gave Bellgrove a chance, but stay on though Rachael Blackmore's mount did, he was still a head down on Hard Bought at the line.
"He stayed at it well but the mistake at the last nearly cost him the race and he's also lazy," reflected Walsh.
The Cork handler added: "He didn't get the trip at Galway the last day - he was cruising then but didn't stay. He might go to Gowran for a two and a quarter mile handicap chase next."
