Haralan wins last at Gowran
The well backed 4/9 favourite Haralan from the John Oxx stable made it a winning debut when landing the concluding race on this evening’s card the Watree Maiden in the hands of Michael Kinane.
Winning trainer Oxx said afterwards: “He’s a nice horse and we’ll be holding onto to him and giving him a chance. We will try pick up a winner’s of one race for him next. The handicapper wouldn’t give you a chance.”
“Mourad won this race last year and then he went on to win Her Majesty Place at Down Royal so we will probably take that route with this fellow.”
