Hamilton Oh So happy
Brian Hamilton's decision to run Oh So Humbel in the Toals Bet On Goals Galore Hurdle at his local Downpatrick today paid dividends, with the Andrew Thornton ridden gelding eventually making all for a comfortable win.
Odds-on favourite Borrowaddy (8/11 favourite) failed to quicken when asked for his effort by Ruby Walsh before the second last, eventually finishing a well beaten third.
Afterwards Hamilton revealed "I was going to withdraw Oh So Humbel because of the fast ground but had a rethink at the last minute! He has a high knee action which has given him ligament trouble in the past."
He added "Oh So Humbel has only one way of running ? from the front, and will run at Fairyhouse next."
