Halford/Cleary double up with Quinmaster
Following Mariydi s win in the Colts & Geldings' maiden, trainer/jockey Michael Halford and Rory Cleary went on to record a double at Dundalk tonight, with Quinmaster in the Horizons PR & Advertising Consultants Handicap.
Halford later mentioned "I'm delighted to get another win with Quinmaster as he is a difficult horse to place nowadays. He has been a marvelous servant for us but isn't suited by the pace of some of his races but returned to his best form today."
Quinmaster's win was the 32nd of the Flat season for Halford, while Cleary has now partnered 34 winners in the same period.
