The Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Nursery Handicap at Dundalk this evening went to the Willie McCreery trained Hail Shower under Colm O'Donoghue.
The daughter of Red Clubs raced prominently, led early in the straight and stayed on well to defeat Time To Begin
Afterwards McCreery stated “Hail Shower has been running on terrible ground and I was looking forward to getting her on this ground but then was worried that I wouldn't get into the race!
“I might take my time with her now as she has done what we wanted her to do. She is owned by three good friends of mine from Sallins.”
