Gussy Goose followed up her maiden win at Gowran Park last month by justifying favouritism in the Book For Premier Jumps Weekend Handicap at Fairyhouse.
Her three lengths success over Frozen Lake received a timely boost when the runner-up went one better in the previous race, and punters took note by backing her into 6/4 (from 15/8).
The daughter of Danehill Dancer and Mzuri drew clear in the final furlong, with Fran Berry's mount proving the stronger in the closing stages to prevail by three quarters of a length.
There was a gap of nearly five lengths back to Laharde in third.
Winning trainer David Wachman said, "She seems to be improving. The second horse really put it up to her and Fran gave her a good ride. She'll go for another handicap."
