Guineas Trial now for Stenographer
Stenographer and Kevin Manning come through on the rail to win

Stenographer (3/1) traded at as big as 90 'in the run' on the betting exchanges, but the Distorted Humor newcomer is obviously smart as he showed when landing the Elusive Pimpernel Maiden (Plus 10 Race) under Kevin Manning at the Curragh.
Richard Fahey 's raider, Paddy Power and Kevin Prendergast's Acclamation filly, Sufoof both looked like possible winners through this six furlong affair.
However the Godolphin-owned Stenographer really got the hang of what was required along the rail inside the final furlong. He got up near the finish to beat Paddy Power and Sufoof by half a length and a head.
"It's nice to get the first one. He could be a horse for the future," said winning trainer Jim Bolger.
"He doesn't lack toe and when these horses get a run they can sharpen up. A Guineas Trial seems the obvious thing now.
"He got through that well and I'd say he'll handle any ground."
Karen Kenny, rider of Town Ranger trained by Peter Casey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount hung badly left.
