Great compo for Pintura
Pintura held the flying late run of Battleroftheboyne at Galway

Pintura gained rich compensation for his Topaz Mile runner-up placing on Tuesday night when capturing the €42,000 first-prize for the Ladbrokes Mobile App Handicap at Galway.
In the process the British-raider, trained by Tipperary native Kevin Ryan, was supplying his jockey Declan McDonogh with a double. Half-an-hour earlier he'd steered Cest Notre Gris home for Jim Gorman in the nursery. It was McDonogh's fourth victory of the week after Maude Adams & Vastonea had given him a brace on Tuesday as well.
Pintura might have looked keen enough tracking the pace but he asserted in the straight and just had enough up his sleeve to hold the flying late run of Battleroftheboyne by a neck.
McDonogh said: "He's a tough horse. It took him a while to get into stride.
"Once he hit the hill he picked up. He was doing the bare minimum in front but when I felt the other horse coming on my outer he was picking up again."
The victorious Efisio gelding was the fifth horse to score on his second attempt of the week at Ballybrit, following in the hoof-prints of Inis Meain, Wellforth, Shadow Eile and Rock Critic (DM & EM)
