Amanirenas (7/1) recorded her second win of the season, and the fifth of her career, when landing the Meath Farm Machinery Claiming Race for Michael Grassick and Danny Sheehy.
A winner at Fairyhouse in May, the daughter of War Command carries the black and white colours of the Newbridge College Past Pupils Syndicate and came from off the pace to wear down Chestnutter in the final furlong for a half-length victory.
Sheehy said: "I thought the trip wasn't really much of a worry.
"She just has her certain way of running, she likes to be dropped out and come off the pace. There was plenty of pace on today, so it suited.
"She actually travelled really well, but she needs a bit of daylight and you kind of have to come wide. It is not easy trying to come wide around here when you are always turning sharply but, in fairness, she was good and gutsy, and when she got there she probably parked a little bit looking for company.
"Delighted to get her head in front again.
"I suppose it is unique (here), they always go hard and you kind of have to be up with the pace so complete opposite to there." Tai Sing Yeh (third) was claimed by Ian Donoghue for 5k and Gobi Star (sixth) was claimed by Yvonne Hennessy, to betrained by James Barcoe, for 4k.
