Today's meeting at Gowran Park goes ahead following an early morning inspection.
Officials decided to hold a precautionary inspection due to the prospect of heavy rain but the Co. Kilkenny course was passed fit for racing.
The first of eight races commences at 1.25pm, and the highlight is the Toals.com Leinster National Handicap Chase.
The 100,000 euro event was originally due to be run at Naas on Sunday but was transferred during the week due to ground conditions.
The Holden Plant Rentals Shamrock Handicap Chase is another valuable race on the card, while Paul Townend makes a welcome return from injury with four rides including Pairofbrowneyes in the feature.
The going remains heavy.
