Purple Gown built on a good initial effort this season to land the concluding mile handicap at Leopardstown this afternoon.
Jim Bolger 's Teofilo filly tracked front-runner Maggie And Me before tackling that rival a furlong-and-a-half from home.
The 6/5 favourite was asked to go on over a furlong out by Luke McAteer and stayed on well in the closing stages to post a two-and-a-quarter length win.
Purple Gown had run well in similar conditions on her seasonal debut at the Curragh when chasing home Razdan and was winning today at the 20th attempt.
Bolger said:- “She handles most types of ground but wouldn’t want it firm and she has got stronger this year.
“She is in again on Wednesday.
“The horses have been running well since the start of the season.”
