Gorman off the mark for 2011
Punters stung by the 25/1 success of Lady Fashion in the opener at Dundalk endured a further setback when another outsider, Golden Shoe took the second under Kevin Manning.
Jim Gorman 's son of Footstepsinthesand beat Liberty's Gift (well-backed this morning) by three parts of a length with favourite Free Art back in third. Aragorn Rouge 10/1 this morning into 7/2 finished fourth.
Gorman said: "I fancied him a lot first time out. I was sick with the way he ran then – at Limerick. I've always thought a lot of him and I think it was the ground that beat him first time out (soft).
"Kevin was pleased with him and that's his trip, either six or seven, he won't get further than seven. A good conditions race could be next for him."
