The Leonard Paul Flynn trained Good Bye Milan stayed on strongly under Danny Mullins to win the Golf At Gowran Park Handicap Hurdle (Div II).
Sent off 10/1, the seven-year-old was registering the second win of her career, having first tasted success at Wexford in May 2022.
Held up in mid division, Mullins began to make ground after jumping three out. Going fifth on the run to the penultimate flight, he delivered his challenge approaching the last.
Leading at the final hurdle, the daughterof Milan found plenty on the run-in to beat Queenofthelodge by one-and-three-quarter lengths.
Danny Mullins said: “Lenny told me he fancied her the last day and for whatever reason it just didn't happen but she seemed to operate today.
“Maybe coming from Tramore to a more galloping track here worked. It was nice that I was on her when it happened.
“She likes the nice ground and I suppose at this time of the year you just need to make the most of it as it'll probably start raining from here on.”
