The going remains soft at Thurles following 3.5mm of rain since declaration time at the Co. Tipperary venue.
Clerk of the Course Lorcan Wyer reports fresh ground is available on both the hurdle and chase courses, and there are two Grade 2 events on the seven race card which begins at 1.15pm. Last Instalment a top novice two years ago but reappearing after a 704-day absence, is among the seven runners in the Kinloch Brae Chase.
Nicky Henderson adds further intrigue by sending out his first runner at the track as Une Artiste tackles the Fame And Glory & Sans Frontieres Coolmore National Hunt Sires EBF Mares Novice Chase.
