The going at Thurles is Yielding to Soft, Yielding in places.
The weather is dull and misty at present and is expected to clear this afternoon.
Today's card begins at 1.10pm with a Grade 2 mares' novices' chase where Willie Mullins' Allegorie De Vassy is long odds-on to score after winning by 19 lengths in the same grade at Limerick over Christmas. Chacun Pour Soi and Fakir D'oudairies clash in the next race on the card - the Grade 2 Horse & Jockey Hotel Steeplechase.
Down Royal races on Tuesday and the ground is Yielding to Soft, Soft in places after 5mm of rain since entries.
Mainly overcast weather is forecast with the possibility of approximately 5mm of rain prior to racing.
