On day three of the Christmas festivals, the going at Leopardstown on the hurdle/bumper track is Soft and Soft, Yielding in places on the chase track.
Fresh ground is in use today and there is the possibility of 3-4mm of rain before lunchtime today at which point it is expected to clear.
The action gets under way at noon and A Plus Tard heads the market for the Grade 1 Savills Steeplechase (2.20pm).
Following 6mm of rain, Limerick remains Soft to Heavy, Heavy in places.
The forecast is for some heavy showers (approximately 4mm prior to racing) this morning, to clear in the afternoon.
The card commences at 12.20pm. Willie Mullins' Allegorie De Vassy is odds-on favourite for the Grade 2 McMahons Builders Providers Irish EBF Dawn Run Mares Novice Steeplechase at 1.30pm.
