Gowran Park hosts racing today and tomorrow. The going is currently Soft on the hurdle course and Yielding on the chase course. There's a mainly dry weather forecast.
The seven race jumps card this afternoon gets under way at 2.05pm, with the feature being the €20,000 mares hurdle at 3.45pm.
Jarlath Fahey 's Jennies Jewel and Cailin Annamh from Jessica Harrington's yard dominate both the betting and the official ratings in this contest. Cailin Annamh goes for a hat-trick today.
The fixture at Dundalk on the polytrack commences at 5.40pm and punters have eight flat races to solve there. Former Dewhurst winner Parish Hall will be popular in the featured Group 3 Diamond Stakes at 7.45pm.
Ahead of its Sunday meeting, Tipperary reports its ground to be Yielding, Soft in places (on the flat course) and Good, Yielding in places (on the National Hunt track) after 17mm of rain overnight. A mainly dry day is expected.
There are four big races on the card - the Group 3 Concorde Stakes, the Grade 3 Dolores Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle, the Grade 3 Like A Butterfly Novice Steeplechase and the Grade 2 Friends Of Tipperary Hurdle.
