There is racing in Kilbeggan this evening starting at 5pm. The last going report issued yesterday gave the ground as good to firm, good in places (watering). There are seven races on the card. The Black Russian who won in Sligo three days ago and Formal Bid who scored in Bellewstown yesterday evening, are set to clash in the Dunbia Handicap Hurdle at 6pm.
Racing returns to Wexford at 4.45pm with a seven-race fixture. Their last update had the ground good to firm (watering to maintain).
The Rosslare Handicap looks a tricky puzzle for punters to solve, with Bahrain Storm, Blue Cannon Celestial Prospect and Invincible Don up at the top of the weights.
Ahead of its card tomorrow, the Curragh reports its going as good, good to firm in places on the round course. The forecast is for rain today clearing to showers overnight and a mainly dry day tomorrow.
It features the Group 2 Futurity Stakes for two-year-olds, and two Group 3 races and also a Listed contest. The Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sale Stakes worth 125,000 euro is another highlight.
Cork races on Sunday (2.15) and the ground is currently good to firm, good in the back straight (watering to maintain).
