The ground at Killarney is good to firm. The flat course was watered overnight and the National Hunt track is being watered this morning. Watering will continue for the week. The forecast is for a dry day today and tomorrow.
Racing in Kerry gets under way at 5.40 and it is a mixed seven-race card. The feature is the Christy McSweeney Memorial Novice Steeplechase at 7.40pm. where Rebel Fitz will be favourite to follow up on his Ballinrobe success.
Elsewhere, the ground at the Curragh remains good to firm and watering continues.ahead of racing at headquarters on Saturday and Sunday. The Darley Irish Oaks is the highlight of the weekend.
