The going at Sligo is Yielding to Soft after 12mm of rain since declaration time. There is a possibility of a further 5-10mm in mid-afternoon.
The National Hunt card gets under way at 5.20pm. Esthers Present is popular in the extended two and a half mile maiden hurdle at 6.50pm. He won a point-to-point in Kinsale by 15 lengths on his last start in June.
Killarney's August Festival starts tomorrow and the ground is Soft (Heavy in places) on the Flat course and Yielding (Soft in places) on the National Hunt track. It was dry overnight but showers are a possibility today.
Kilbeggan hosts racing on Friday evening and the going is Good to Yielding after 15mm of rain over the weekend. The forecast remains unsettled.
