The ground at Ballinrobe remains Good to Yielding. Showers are forecast today.
The first of seven races is off at 5.50pm. Bomber Jackson is all the rage for the mile and five handicap at 8.25pm. From as big as 14/1 he has shortened to 13/2. When last seen, he was second in a two and a half mile maiden hurdle at Roscommon this month. Motherland has gone odds on for the mile and five maiden (at 7.20pm). Joseph O'Brien's charge is 10/11 from 6/4 after being placed in Roscommon.
Meanwhile, the going at Naas is Yielding, Yielding to Soft in places ahead of racing tomorrow evening. The forecast is for a risk of scattered showers today and tomorrow.
Elsewhere, Leopardstown races on Thursday and the track report its ground to be Yielding. Mostly dry weather is expected over the coming days.
Ahead of Irish Derby weekend, the ground at the Curragh remains Yielding (on the straight course) and Good to Yielding (on the round track). Changeable weather is forecast.
