Goddess gains her reward
The Brian Nolan trained three times runner-up Perfect Goddess gained a deserved success in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Maiden at Sligo this evening.
Ridden by Ronan Whelan, the daughter of Antonius Pius made all and battled well to eventually hold the challenge of Legal Peace by three parts of a length.
Afterwards Nolan stated “it wasn’t ideal to make the running with Perfect Goddess and she jumped the road (over a furlong out) as well. She never travelled at Fairyhouse the last day but travelled much better today and was going away again at the line. She’ll probably go for a nursery somewhere now.”
