Give Me A Copper took Cork's bumper in good style when quickening away to score by six and a half lengths.
Pat Collins settled him in second before the pair eased to the front inside the three pole. Classic Place the 2/1 favourite, was shaken up by Patrick Mullins to go after Give Me A Copper but the 9/4 second favourite opened up a furlong and a half out and put the race to bed.
Collins could afford a look over his shoulder in the final furlong as his mount strode away impressively.
Classic Place came in second while Kilcrea Bridge (20/1) took third.
Owner/trainer Donal Coffey said: "He's the best horse we've ever had - definitely way better. He's a right horse and will be better on better ground.
"We'd sell anything if we got enough but if he isn't sold, we'll keep him for the Gold Cup! He's a horse who will definitely run in it some year."
Give Me A Copper won his point-to-point at Athlacca in May last year.
