Gigginstown complete local double
Michael O’Leary’s Gigginstown House Stud completed a double at his local Kilbeggan this evening when his Guts For Garters landed the BelvedereHouse, Gardens & Park Handicap Chase, under Adrian Heskin.
Afterwards winning trainer Michael Hourigan stated “Guts For Garters took a long time to break his duck!”
“Andrew McNamara rode him on his latest run but got left in front by a faller. He said he travels better in behind horses and is better with a lead so we dropped him ‘in’ today and it worked well. He is a great stayer and keeps galloping.”
