Galway is now yielding to soft (flat) and yielding on the National Hunt course after 8mm of rain today.
The forecast was for rain today, clearing to showers tomorrow.
The highlight on day two is the Topaz Mile and Rock Critic will bid to give Dermot Weld back-to-back victories in the €115,000 contest.
The top-weight is currently 9/2 favourite after being supported this morning from 6/1. Custom Cut comes into the race on a roll and bids for his fifth straight victory this summer. He currently trades at 10/1.
At Cork there was 10mm of rain overnight.
Ahead of Sunday and Monday's meetings there, it's now good (hurdle), good to yielding (yielding in places) on the round flat and yielding to soft on the sprint track.
