Galway is Yielding on the National Hunt track and Soft on the Flat course after 11mm of rain overnight.
The forecast is for a further 2-3mm prior to racing, turning dry & breezy. The first of seven races on the mixed card is off at 5.20pm.
There has been an early market move for Dermot Weld's Tashman in the seven-furlong handicap at 7.05pm.
This is his first run since finishing third at Navan in October and he now has a first-time visor. Declan McDonogh's mount is 3/1 from 9/2.
A further 3-4mm of rain is forecast for Galway on Tuesday morning before again turning dry & breezy for racing tomorrow.
