Gavin Cromwell doubled up on the day at Cork this afternoon when Fuwairt swooped from last to first to claim the concluding seven-furlong handicap.
The Arcano gelding had been narrowly denied on his last two outings, going down by just a nose here last week, but made no mistake today.
Kevin Manning produced the 4/1 to led passing the furlong pole and he kept on strongly in the closing stages to post a length victory over Mr Ormsby
"He's not winning out of turn and we've been trying with him for a while. He did that well today and he battled well which is great to see and he seems to be in a good place at the moment,” said Cromwell.
"There is one more race at Navan before the sales at Newmarket, where he is entered, but I'll have a chat with the lads and possibly have a rethink about that.
“I don't see why he also can't go to Dundalk as he was second there for us in the past.
"We seemed to think he wanted an ease in the ground but for whatever reason, he is very happy in himself and is moving really well and is enjoying that quick ground now."
