Friday winner for Carroll at Dundalk not Del Mar
Ozymandis and Gary Carroll beat Freescape

Beaten a short head over course and distance on his previous outing last month, the 5/4 favourite Ozymandis went one better in the BetVictor Casino Handicap.
The Brazen Beau gelding tracked the leaders before coming through to hit the front a furlong and a half from home. He kept on well to beat Freescape (12/1) by three quarters of a length with Tyrconnell (14/1) another half a length back in third.
Winning rider Gary Carroll was due to have been in Del Mar today to partner Quick Suzy in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint only for Gavin Cromwell’s Queen Mary winner to spike a temperature which forced her to miss the engagement.
Shane Lyons, assistant to winning trainer Ger Lyons, said: “We’ll mix it with him over seven and a mile. He’s a very genuine horse and will probably have a break now as there is not a lot for him. He’s very lightly-raced but with an engine.
“He got struck into when he won here back in April and that held him up a bit. He’s a horse we like for next year and he’s a good ground horse.”
