Foxland wins Hurry Harriet Stakes
Mullingar based trainer Mark Fagan registered the biggest win of his four year training career when his Duchess Of Foxland landed the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Hurry Harriet Stakes at Gowran today.
Jockey Emmet McNamara, partnering his fourth Listed winner, moved the daughter of Medecis to the front under two furlongs out, before staying on gamely for a half length win over Fourpenny Lane
Afterwards Fagan stated “I have my license four years and have about 12 horses. Duchess Of Foxland is the star of the show and showed her class today, when we stepped her up in trip for the first time. I’ve no immediate plans but hopefully she will stay in training next year.”
