Fourth Wexford win for Salesin
Salesin scored a seventh win for trainer Niall Madden, and an eighth in total, when making all for another game win in the Audrey McGrath Memorial Chase at Wexford this evening.
Ridden by the trainer’s son of the same name, Salesin was clear for much of the way and eventually stayed on well to comfortably hold the challenge of Twin Joy by four and a half lengths.
Afterwards Madden Snr stated “Salesin loves it around here and has now won four times at Wexford, winning on the Flat, over hurdles and over fences.
“He likes a bit of an ease in the ground and, while but he mightn’t be a Glway Plate horse, he will have an entry in the race. He is useless going left-handed but if I had half a dozen like him I’d be flying!”
