For A Finish continues on the up
For A Finish is proving to be a real dream to train for Eoin Doyle and the son of Beat All showed that all ground comes alike to him by taking the Garryowen Handicap Steeplechase under Johnny Cullen at Limerick.
The British bred won his three previous races on a much quicker surface but he travelled through this soft ground easily arriving with his challenge before the straight. He got the better of the well-backed favourite Bideford Legend from before the last, going on to win pretty comfortably by four and a half lengths.
Doyle said: "He did it well and he might have a break now and go for a staying chase around Christmas. The Paddy Power would be a possibility if he got in there off a light weight."
The Mooncoin handler may have a quieter time than recently over the winter but he'll still have a team of about twenty to go to war with.
