Flood and Walsh land feature at Galway
Mark Walsh won the feature of the day The Freshways Handicap Hurdle aboard P'tit Fute trained by Francis Flood owned by the JRM Racing Syndicate.
Walsh raced his mount towards rear and crept into the race from halfway, he improved to lead before last and was pushed out to win by 2 1/2 lengths.
Fran Flood assistant to father Francis said, 'It was good to win, he was a bit disappointing here on Monday but I put that down to the ground being quicker than he wanted and 2m on the flat is a bit sharp for him nowadays. The Irish Cesarewitch and The November Handicap are two races that i'd like to give him his chance at.'
