Flood Continues Good Run
Paddy Flood only lost out in terms of prize-money won to Ruby Walsh in the leading National Hunt riders table at the Galway Festival and the Co. Kildare jockey kept up the momentum on La Carlota for Myles Sunderland in the Boyle Mares Hurdle.
This French import, beat the 6/4 favourite, Mill House Girl by four lengths. Sunderland himself ended a barren spell at Killarney with the gambled-on Jack Travers, and he said of this 12/1 winner, "She's not too bad and she is now the fourth winner from as many horses that I've had for the owner, Nicholas Teehan."
